Miller Center

Did you know that the Director of the Miller Park Center doesn't even have a degree? She has a substitute teacher's certificate. This is according to DESE's website. When asked what credentials a director must have I received the following:

Dear Ms. Tucker,

DESE does not have any authority over day-treatment facilities, so therefore we have no guidance over the qualifications of the employees. They might be under the Department of Mental Health or some other department.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
