Should our district really be involved this heavily in politics?

SPRING 2013 VOTING RECORDS
FOR R-7 AREA STATE LEGISLATORS

The Missouri General Assembly session ended May 17 with a variety of bills passed that impact our school community. A chart, available at http://cdn.lsr7.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/GeneralAssemblyVotesSpring20131.pdf, details the votes by our state senators and representatives on bills affecting Lee's Summit R-7 schools.

Each bill's number and a brief description are listed on the left side of the chart with individual votes for each bill included for all elected officials. Green shading on an official's individual vote indicates that he or she supported the R-7 position on this bill. Red shading on the official's vote indicates he or she did not support the R-7 position on the bill. Yellow shading indicates that the official was absent during the vote. The legislators' records are totaled for each bill tracked by the R-7 School District this spring. To learn more about a bill in the Missouri House of Representatives, visit www.house.mo.gov/. To learn more about a Missouri Senate bill, visit www.senate.mo.gov/. Each web site has a bill tracking option.
