Compromise would allow charter schools to open in St. Louis, Jackson counties : News





As part of that, lawmakers on a joint House-Senate committee agreed
to allow charters to expand to school districts in two counties: St.
Louis and Jackson counties.



Current law stipulates that higher
education institutions could sponsor a charter school in St. Louis and
Kansas City public schools as well as districts that are unaccredited,
provisionally accredited or have scores consistent with provisional or
unaccredited status.

School Board Candidates

I am attempting to find information on the school board candidates.  It has been much easier in the past.  This year it has been more difficult.  Susan D. Coffman Susan Coffman has served as the Outreach Program Coordinator and Finance Officer for Lee’s Summit CARES since 2008.
